  Bagels were brought from eastern Europe by Jewish immigrants to                              New York city during the late 1800's.  For many years the bagel unions                             kept the love of bagels regional.  Traditionally bagels have been boiled and                         then baked.  This is a process that Big Daddy Bagels continues today.
